Ticket office closures and stranded passengers.

It comes as no surprise to me that I’m not the only one who has problems travelling on public transport with a wheelchair, in fact I know I’m not from talking to other people with disabilities. Sometimes these problems are picked up on by mainstream media, like the awful case of Lisa Bennett in the Standard, here.

With ticket office closures starting across London’s Tube network I went on BBC Radio London yesterday to discuss accessibility, my experience and the impact these closures might have. You can find the programme here for the next 28 days, with my piece starting at 1hr 38mins.

About Alan

I'm an Economist, Geek, Campaigner & wheelchair user who's been using all forms of public transport for 20+ years.
