Nothing to see here, move along.

Richmond – Willesden – Euston – Birmingham

It’s very rare but a pleasure when a journey goes so well that there’s not really anything to write about.

This is a regular and roundabout route, and not one you’ll find on any journey planner. Using the Overground to go around London, rather than going into the city and then across does seem a bit of a long route, around 45 minutes, but if you can’t use the tube then you’re restricted to surface transport through the congested streets. The Overground is warmer, more spacious and smoother.

The cherry on the proverbial cake is that I was met promptly at each stage and assisted towards the next leg of my journey.

As I said, there’s nothing to see here, move along now.
